By registering for the 5th World Cocoa Conference 2024 (hereinafter referred to as the “World Cocoa Conference” or the “Conference”), participants agree to the following terms and conditions.
Participation will not be possible without prior payment of the registration fee, except if indicated otherwise by ICCO or FPS FA.
The organizers reserve the right to accept or reject a registration request.
The Conference fee includes the participation to the Conference, the Conference documents that will be provided to participants by ICCO and FPS FA, lunches and beverages provided during the Conference. Registration fees include 21% VAT.
The 5th World Cocoa Conference 2024 is jointly organized by the International Cocoa Organization (hereinafter referred to as the “ICCO”) and the Federal Public Service of the Kingdom of Belgium, Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation (hereinafter referred to as the “FPS FA”) on 21, 22, 23 and 24 April 2024 and will be occurring in-person.
Registration to the 5th World Cocoa Conference 2024 can only be completed via the registration page. Registration to the Conference will be managed by the Conference Secretariat operated by Destrée Organisation.
The secretariat will issue registration invoices and confirmations answer participants’ questions concerning their registration on behalf of ICCO or FPS FA.
Upon registration to the 5th World Cocoa Conference 2024, participants will be invited to pay the registration fee, either by using the online service provided on the registration page or by bank transfer as per the instructions provided on the registration page.
Participation will not be possible without prior payment of the registration fee, unless otherwise specified by ICCO or FPS FA.
The Conference fee includes participation to the Conference, Conference documents that will be provided to participants by ICCO and FPS FA, and lunches and beverages provided during the Conference. Registration and gala dinner fees include 21% VAT.
Participants are requested to make their own arrangements for health and travel insurance. The registration fee does not include insurance.

A registration confirmation will be sent by email to participants once the online registration request and payment have been successfully received by the 5th World Cocoa Conference 2024 Secretariat. Participants may be requested to present this confirmation at the registration counter as proof of their registration and payment.
Notice of cancellation must be communicated in writing by email to secretariat@cocoabrussels2024.be and will include all relevant information regarding the bank account to which a possible refund may be remitted. Provided the notice of cancellation is made according to the above requirements and before the 29th February 2024 , the registration fee will be refunded in full (a 50 € administrative charge will be deducted) to participants. For cancellations after 1st March 2024 and for No-Shows, 100% of the total amount will remain due. For name substitutions, a processing fee of 50 € will be charged.

Pictures and videos will be taken during the 5th World Cocoa Conference. Some of these images will be used during he conference and ICCO websites and social media. Any objection should be mentioned during the registration by ticking the appropriate box. The same principle applies to sharing participants’ name and details (name, function, company) in the networking list 5th World Cocoa Conference.
